WOLBI Jeju dispatches its students to the global classroom, where they take in the culture, gain
exposure to world issues, and see the impact of missions and the church throughout the world for themselves.
The first trip WOLBI takes is a 7-day Missions Research trip to Thailand, travelling between the cities of Bangkok and Chiang Mai, meeting missionaries who are involved in making a difference in their area of work. Whether discussing the meaning of life with a Buddhist monk, involving yourself in helping a ministry, taking time to explore the ethnic markets, getting a Thai massage, climbing a waterfall or riding an elephant through the jungle, this trip to Thailand will be sure to ignite a passion for missions and catalyze a resolve to make a difference for God's glory.
The second WOLBI trip (also included in the tuition price) is one of the most incredible experiences a student of the Bible could possibly undertake. Walking in the Holy Land where so much history has taken place is truly life-changing. Anyone who has gone on the WOLBI Israel trip will testify that the way you view the Word of God will revolutionize after travelling the land of Israel. Over 60 historic sites in 10 days, you will act out Bible Stories at the sites for an unforgettable experience, you'll visit Bethlehem where Jesus was born and eat a pita and olive hummas lunch in a Bedouin tent, you will swim in the Sea of Galilee, float on the Dead Sea, walk along the Mediterranean at Caeserea Philippi, visit the Temple Mount and explore the Jewish Quarters in Old Jerusalem. There really are countless places to see in the beautiful land of Israel.
Jeju island is a great place to explore when you aren't in class. There are numerous pristine beaches, beautiful waterfalls, aesthetic cafes, restaurants, hiking trails, and, of course, you can't be on Jeju without climbing Mt Halla, South Korea's tallest peak. In the spring, the whole island bursts into cherry blossoms. Eat delicious red bean doughnuts at the Five-Day Markets, go deep sea fishing off the coast, ride bikes along trails. Jeju will never fail to dazzle and impress.
